Course Description

In the contemporary world, English is a powerful tool to do many things – not least, to do sociology. This course presents a unique opportunity for students to build basic sociological knowledge via English practice: students will acquire wider perspective for sociological inquiries, as they brush up their communicative skills in English.
The students of all levels of English proficiency are welcome; what it takes for doing sociology is, after all, not only language skills but also, or rather, interests, sincerity, and willingness to engage with it.
