Outline
Students will learn the following contents, in fact, using automobile equipment and parts.
(1) Manual transmission: While confirming the parts configuration and functions, perform measurement work of each part and check the condition while disassembling.
(2) Electronic Circuits and Electronic Components: Check the circuit diagram and combine actual circuits to check whether it operates normally. We will also make circuit testers and learn how to handle them.
(3) Engine electrical components: Understand operation through disassembly and inspection. After assembling, perform the operation test and confirm the performance.
Although this lesson is mainly a practical form, exercises and tasks are carried out in pair work or group work, and everyone will discuss about the answers and discuss with all of them.
In this lesson, you will acquire knowledge, techniques and attitudes about the degree granting policy DP 4 and DP 5.

Objectives
Students can understand and practice the following contents.
(1) Component configuration and operation of manual transmission
(2) Functions of electronic circuits and electronic components
(3) Configuration and function of engine electrical components (starting device, charging device, ignition device)

Grading Policy
We will evaluate the class attitude based on the penalty reduction method based on 50% regular test and 50% problem report. The attitude of teaching is to observe the "knowledge of practical work" to explain and distribute at the time in the first lesson. In the assignment report, we will use the ballpoint pen in horizontal writing on A4 paper, compile the contents, tasks etc. for each practical training. Students are required to fill out the student ID number and name on the cover and submit it on the regular examination day. In addition, we will return and explain the assignment report.

Requirements (Assignments)
Please read the lesson content posted on LMS. Do read through the applicable range in the textbook and understand the contents. Learn again the relevant lecture contents of the car theory that you have learned in the second half of the year and the automotive structure theory of the second year 2, please prepare carefully and go to the class. Also, since I will show some kind of homework such as assignment as appropriate, please finish it by next lesson. Approximately 1 hour for preparation, 2 hours for assignment and review.

(1) Students must attend all classes. Attendance is important and late arrival, leave early and absence are monitored.
(2) Prepare report paper, notes etc. on your own.
(3) In this course, students need to wear uniforms, hats and safety shoes of the same specifications purchased beforehand and use your own tools.
