Outline
Please study the examination subjects (system engineering, radio communication, navigation and law) to pass the written test for private pilot license. Using an actual helicopter to understand external inspection, start-up procedure, three controls (rudder, cyclic pitch and collective pitch), hovering, take-off & landing and autorotation.
Mainly, this course is carried out with practical training.
This subject is related to DP 2, 4, 5.

Objectives
Please study in order to pass the written test for private pilot license in March or July. Students will learn the further knowledge necessary to fly as private pilots.
3.
Grading Policy
This subject is evaluated by the result of trial examination (80%) and participation (20%).
You are required to go through and explain the answer of the trial examinations.

Textbook: "Pilot’s Operating Handbook"(ALP)
References book: "study guide of the written test" (JAPA ISBN 978-4-931160-07-1)

Requirements (Assignments)
Lecture is based on answer of trial quizzes handed out before each class (2 hours). Review and write down the necessary information for the commercial pilot test, with linking to lecture and practical trainings, in notebooks (1 hour). 3 hours of preparation and review is necessary.
