Ultrasonic diagnostic equipment, X -ray diagnostic apparatus, CT, MRI, PET, etc, each has its own unique technique for creating an image .
 These devices are helping to create cutting edge medical care.
 Diagnostic imaging devices are able to visualize any abnormality in the body.
 Furthermore, they can also provide information on the cause and condition of spreading of the disease .
 Based on this information, doctors judge the best way of treating the disease.
 In recent years, doctors have to deal with information from various tests and a large number of four-dimensional or three -dimensional images.
 How we deal accurately and efficiently with this large volume of medical information has become a major issue.
 In order to receive the best medical care and provide a sense of security, advances in technology and medical engineering are important.
 I would like to think about the availability of technology application in the field of health care with you.

Objectives
The purpose of this lecture is to understand how the latest IT and medical diagnostic imaging equipment is being used in health care .
 I would like for us all to think together as to how we can contribute to the development of medical technology by learning the principles and characteristics of medical diagnostic imaging equipment .
