Outline
This course introduces students to some of the major issues in educational psychology. Topics may include the theory of learning, motivation, cognitive processes, and the methods of instructional design.
Class activities will be a combination of lectures and presentation. Writing reports will be required almost every week.
This course is related to educational goals 2,and 3 of General Basic Subjects.

Objectives
(1)Student will be able to explain the theory of learning and the process of learning.
(2)Student will be able to make the instructional design for teaching.
(3)Student will be able to do a presentation on the teaching plan.
3.
Grading Policy
(1) Reports after class (30%)
(2) Learning portfolio (outcomes and reflections of learning) (50%)
(3) Final examination (20 %)
We will return the submitted items such as Learning portfolio, Reports and so on and give feedback. The final test will be explained on the LMS.

Requirements (Assignments)
As a pre-assignment, Students read the scope of the next lesson of the textbook and work on advance tasks (about 1 hour each time) (2nd - 8th, 13th - 14th)
Students read the handouts work on advance tasks. (About 2 hours each time) (9th-12th)
The pre-assignment will be shown at the end of the lesson and will be uploaded to LMS.

As a post-assignment, students will prepare reports after class(about 1 hour) (2th-14th).
The post-assignment will be shown at the end of the lesson and will be uploaded to LMS.

Schedule
1. The syllabus and the attention points on the course, the purpose of the course, the outline, the assessment method, etc. will be explained.
Students will consider about the "human mind" and understand about psychology.
2. Students will create a learning plan with a simple example and understand "learning"
3. Students will make presentations about the learning plan and understand the significance of learning.
4. Students will learn about the contents of various mechanisms of " learning".
5. Students will learn the mechanisms of "learning' based on examples and further understand.
6. Students will learn motivation of "learning" and the significance of readiness.
7. Students will learn the role of " 3-way communication" and "KR information" and create a report.
8. Students will listen to the presentation of "examples of KR information" to deepen the understanding of the role of "KR information".
9. Students will understand Pavlov's condition reflex theory.
10. Students will understand the theory of Thorndike and Skinner.
11. Students will understand the theory of Truman and Koehler.
12. Students will understand the difference between Union theory and cognitive theory.
13. Students will create learning plans based on instructional design.
14. Students will make presentations the learning plans and discuss about them.
15. Final examination and explanation
Students will visualize the results of learning with a map and summarize the reflection of learning in sentences.
