Outline
The course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to understand the many aspects of network-based information society and the contents of career guidance in school.
Topics may include information and communication technology, "Web2.0", and career counseling.
Class activities will be a combination of group discussion and creating useful teaching materials for career decision making.
This course is related to DP1.

Objectives
(1)Students will be able to understand a network-based information society.
(2)Students will learn the gap in benefits from the information society.
(3)Students will be able to understand t new problems of the information society.
(4)Students will be able to create useful teaching materials for career decision making.
3.
Grading Policy
(1) Reports after class and materials (30%)
(2) Learning portfolio (outcomes and reflections of learning) (50%)
(3) Final report (20 %)
We will return the submitted items such as Learning portfolio, Reports and so on and give feedback. The final test will be explained on the LMS.
4.
Textbook and Reference
We will distribute and present necessary materials and references in class.
Students use LMS.
5.
Requirements (Assignments)
As a pre-assignment, Students review the content of " Study of Guidance of Student Personnel Service " and " Informatic Sociology " in 3rd grade (about 2 hours each time).(1st-2nd).

As a post-assignment students will investigate the document and put it together (about 1 hour each time)(3th - 6th)
Students will investigate the materials and prepare for presentation (about 1 hour each). (13th - 14th)

Note
This is the course for the students who registered the teaching profession course, and those who want to acquire "information license".

Schedule
1. The syllabus and the attention points on course, the purpose of the course, the outline, the assessment method, etc. will be explained.
2. Students will make presentation and discuss on the characteristics of information society and change of society.
3. Students will investigate the classification of the information industry and summarize it in groups.
4. Students will investigate the ITSS data and summarize it in groups.
5. Students will make presentation on ITSS and understand it.
6. Students will investigate the information industry and engineers and summarize it in groups.
7. Students will prepare teaching materials for career development and occupation selection, and create a plan.
8. Teaching material creation ① 
Students will create outlines of teaching materials for career development and career selection support.
9. Teaching material creation ②
Students will collect various information to prepare teaching materials for career development and occupation selection support.
10. Teaching material creation ③
Students will prepare teaching materials in detail for career development and occupation selection support.
11. Teaching material creation ④
Students will revise teaching materials created for career development and vocational support.
12. Students will make presentations and discussions on the teaching materials created.
13. Students will learn about support for high school students / college students who wish to be information technology engineers.
14. Students will make presentations and discussions on how career education of information engineers at high school.
15. Students will visualize the results of learning with a map and summarize the reflection of learning in sentences.
