Outline
Graduate students in the 1st year prepare their research plans, conduct preliminary experiments, and then determine themes of their doctor's thesis research. They can also conduct their doctor's thesis research in other related institutions including universities, public institutions, and private companies.

Objectives
Graduate students in the 1st year of the doctor's course will start their doctor's thesis research.

Grading Policy
Learning results will be evaluated by presentation of progress reports on doctor's thesis research.

Graduate students will collect reference literature and think about research themes for their doctor's thesis research.
