You will learn the basic theory and practice of museum education, and the skills that you are able to develop educational activities.

Objectives
・You will be able to explain what museum education is.
・You will gain skills to think your own ideas about educational activities and present to the audience.

Grading Policy
・Report 40%
・Presentation 40%
・Other small peices of report 20%
As for the report and the presentation, you will be given personal feedback. Especially regarding the presentation, you will receive the feedback for all presentations.

Requirements (Assignments)
In this class, the review is more valued than preparation. Therefore, please spare some time to review the followings before the next class.
1) Read text books that you have learned in the class and understand them. (About 30 mins to 1 hour)
2)Read the chapter that you are told and make a summary of it. You have to submit the summary paper at the beginning of the next class. (More than 1 hour)
In the class, you will be advised where you should read.

・In any kinds of papers, you must write down your name.
・If you will miss the deadline of any reports and presentations, please let the instructor know in advance. If you have passed the deadline, your points might be taken off.
