Outline
The students will study wide range of both national and regional development policies thorugh case studies.Japan has been aiming to correct regional disparities and carry out the well-balanced development of national land through the public investment based on the Comprehensive National Development Plan, and has achieved high growth. The students will tackle the issues of their own homelands.
The students can get the knowledge,accoplishment and attitude of DP(2・3).

Objectives
The professor teaching this course has had a great deal of experience as a senior officer in both central and local governments, such as a diplomat, deputy mayor, general affairs manager and a pioneer of the "One village, one product" movement (a typical local development policy which has spread throughout Japan) as well as being a planner of 'Furusato Revitalization Policy' under the Takeshita Government.The students will study concrete examples of the various policies through 'case study' including "CHIHO SOSEI-RegionalRevitalization".The students shall be proud their homeland and know the importance of the well-balanced development of the national land and the characteristics of the region.
