Outline
In the first half of the industrial location theory, from the postwar industrial restoration policy, the government has learned the industrial location policy and the foundation of the company's location situation to rectify the gap between urban and rural areas.
In the latter period, local governments will learn about concrete models and examples that have promoted the development of regional economies based on industrial location policy.
In the lecture, students will learn concrete examples of what kind of measures local governments have taken in response to Tokyo's population. The concentration of population and learning the development of regional economy and the change of regional industry by industrial location.
Also, as in the previous term, we invite staff of the Kanto Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, staff of local governments, corporate managers as lecturers every other week and receive lectures from people who are active in the front line. In this lecture, municipal officials in the Kanto region will also attend.

Objectives
While developing industries and structural changes in Japan, we learn the importance of corporate roles and activities by learning basic theory and case examples of industrial location policy. In addition, we will learn about industrial location for development and revitalization of industries necessary for regional economy.
In addition, we will acquire the development of industries and enterprises indispensable to local economy and the way of industrial location for revitalizing the provinces.

Grading Policy
Submission of task report twice, 40%, Final exam 60%, Complement supplementation by attendance and attitude towards learning
