Outline |

This session is the preparation session and entry-level study of Economy. It is mainly concentrate on the history of economy in Japan, current issues, and economic forecast. Because it is a discussion about the current economic issues and affairs, the session will be delivered in a combination with the up-to-date economic news. The lecturer will be focusing on an understanding towards the economic jargon and economic events with a simple and easy-to-understand approach. The students will be able to describe and explain the current issues with their own understanding, which is also encouraging for the students to develop their self-confidence in modern university academic environment.
In this course, students will study about DP2 and DP3.

Objectives |
|
The students can be skilled with the economic jargon, knowledge of economic phenomenon, understanding of economy history in Japan, current issues, and topics. Besides, they can also describe and explain by using their own words, together with the development of independent thinking.

Newspaper's presentation (20%),Group subject(20%),Midterm examination(30%),Term report(30%)
