授業の概要（ねらい） |

この講義は英語で行います。
The English title of this class is "Asian Economy IV" and the taught language of this class is English.
The contemporary Asian economies had been characterized by their dynamic growth, diversity in the growth performances and issues, and both de fact and institutional economic integration. However, 2017 will be a challenging year for Asia, with slower growth of Chinese economy and the expected foreign economic policy changes by the new US administration.
This class aims to understand such overview of the Asian economies, and interprete the performances from the point of view of development economics and international economics. The first 30 minutes of each class will be used for the discussion of the news on Asian economy. Participation in the class discussion will be highly welcomed.

①Students will be able to explain the features of Asian economies in the world and the development mechanism of the Asian economies.
②Students will be able to give appropriate comments on most of the economic news on Asia.

|
Active participation in the class 20%, mid-term exam 30％, final exam 50％.

|
Textbook will not be assigned. Instead, reading materials will be announced in the class and also hand-outs will be distributed when necessary.
