１． 授業の概要（ねらい）

　American films are examined for what they say about Americans, American culture, and the USA itself--directly or indirectly. Students make two presentations per semester in English on individual American films. Presentations generally include PowerPoint and film trailers. The presentations are followed by questions and answers and discussion in English. Finally, all students evaluate the presentations.

　1. 25％ presentation 2. 25％ presentation 3. 50％ class participation.

　Students will make presentations on American films of their choosing that provide opportunities to learn more about the United States.

　Each student will make two PowerPoint presentations to present to class.

　Careful listening to the presentations of other students and asking thoughtful questions and comments.
