授業の概要（ねらい） |

English is the world language, the most important language to communicate with people all over the world. In order to be truly educated, it is essential to be able to communicate in English. However, after years of studying in English, many students find it difficult to put their knowledge of English to use. This course is designed to enhance students' ability to speak, understand, write, and read English. The course is deigned for students at all levels of English.

50％ class participation. 50％ final exam.

|
Let's Talk About It: 1000 Questions for Conversation by Craig Drayton and Marl Gibbon (Pearson / Longman, 2007).
The instructor will also use videos of an American television series in English with English subtitles.

|
Review each section in the textbook before each class to prepare for class exercises. Ideally use what has been learned with English speakers as opportunities arise.

|
Regular attendance is required. More than six absences results in automatic failure in the course, unless the results of the final exam are S or A.
