１． 授業の概要（ねらい）

　World Cultures and Geography: Our planet is filled with a wide diversity of cultures, roughly two hundred countries, and many cities towns and villages. Students will make two presentations per semester in English on these aspects of Earth. Presentations will be followed by questions, answers, and comments in English. Then all students will complete evaluation forms for the presentations.

　Practicing English conversation.
　Improving public presentation skills.

成績評価の方法および基準

　25％ presentation 1, 25％ presentation 2, 50％ class participation.

教科書・参考書

　Students will make presentations on topics of their choosing relevant to the seminar theme and requirements.

　Each student will make two PowerPoint presentations to present to class.

その他履修上の注意事項

　Active class participation is required : Careful listening to the presentations of other students, asking thoughtful questions, and making intelligent comments.
