授業の概要（ねらい） |
|
この授業では、英語の習得を通じて、英語の発祥の地であるイギリスについて、その歴史的・社会的・文化的知識を身につけ、理解を深めていきます。この科目は、中学校・高校における英語の教員免許状の取得をめざす学生を対象とした選択科目です。

2 イギリスの歴史について、その大枠を説明できる。
3 英語の成り立ちを説明できる。
4 イギリスの文化の一つの分野について説明できる。

成績評価の方法および基準 |
|
小テスト30％、レポート20％、期末試験50％。なお、遅刻（上限30分）3回を欠席1回としてみなし、欠席を4回以上した場合には、期末試験を受けることができませんので、注意してください。

準備学修の内容 |
|
毎回、テキスト付属のDVDを見て予習をしてから、授業に出席することが求められています。また、配布資料での予習・復習も求められています。（大学設置基準によれば、1時間の授業に対して、授業外学習を2時間することが求められています。）
