Web Syllabus(講義概要)

In this course students will concentrate on speaking and listening skills for everyday usage. We will practice grammar in the context of improving communication and comprehension skills. We will study idiomatic expressions and try to apply them during every lesson in order to have a more natural understanding of native usage in several situations. Active participation, including interaction among participants, is mandatory and will be reflected in the final grade.

The objective of this course will be for students to improve their speaking and listening skills. Through various communicative task, students will build a foundation of skills that will help them speak a more natural form of English. By the end of the semester, students should show improved speaking skills, an expanded vocabulary, and have a deeper understanding of natural English in day to day situations.

Textbooks（教科書）

No textbook required. Materials will be provided for each class.
*Weekly topics may be subject to change based on student's skills and the speed at which they move through the materials.

The students will be required to participate in class by attending the lectures, practicing with other students and groups during the class, use the guidelines and instruction of the teacher, speak in class when instructed to by the teacher, take all tests, and complete all class assignments.
