Course Description

The twelve animals of the eastern zodiac (Junishi; 十二支)　have been used to recognize time and space for a thousand and hundreds years. The system of Junishi is not addition of numbers but expression of relationship among the nature, life, and human beings. We study many problems in modern Japanese culture and civilization through the unique information of traditional and modern Japanese cultures.
