Course Description

Archaeometry, a scientific measurement for cultural properties, is considered in this course. It focuses on how to apply the measured data (position, colors, shapes, structure, materials, provenance, technique and dating) to studies in history and archaeology. Actual measurements will be presented through scientific experiments using several analytical instruments.
