Course Description

　Recent Asian economy came to face various new issues such as dominance of Chinese economy, US protectionism, emergence of India and latecomers in ASEAN,, worsening income inequality, aging society and environmental problem and so forth. This class aims to understand features and diversities in Asian economies through the country-wise study. Country study put importance in its macro-economic analysis based on statistics.
It covers Korea, Taiwan, PRC, Thailand, Vietnam. Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, India, and Myanmar.
