Course Description

This course is designed for students to learn labor issues and labor policies of Japan.
The topics are as follows: Japanese employment system, introducing legal limits on overtime working hours, realizing diverse ,flexible working styles, promotion of women's participation and advancement in the workplace, harmonization of work and family life, and measures to prevent sexual harassment,harassment on the basis of pregnancy/childbirth,and power harassment in the workplace.
