Course Description

People often connect cultural heritage or cultural properties with grand buildings or buddhist statues. However, cultural heritage is a vast concept which includes the entire body of materials, both tangible and intangible, produced by cultural activities of humankind. Therefore, they also exist close at hand. The aim of this lecture is to feature those materials which are not usually regarded as cultural properties and to discuss how they can be found, preserved, and disseminated.
