Course Description

To find the relevant information, information is made preliminary arrangements. The steps to make arrangements are called information organization. And in the libraries, cataloging and classification organize the information. In this class, theory and basic skills of information organization including descriptive cataloging and subject cataloging are introduced as access mechanism in libraries. And information organization in the Internet environment are introduced.
