Course Description

Preservation of the society of mankind is based on biological and cultural reproduction activities. In the latter acivities, the child rearing environment and learning form play an important role. Since the lecture on the living environment on Australopithecines and early Homo has already been done, this year I will give lectures on the biological and cultural environment of children of pre-sapience human such as Neanderthal and Denisova. In this subject, students will learn the factors of human evolution and social environment of the Middle Palaeolithic period. In the spring season, outlines of human evolution, and the biological and cultural specifity of the pre-sapience human are lectured. In the autumn, focus is placed on the skill of stone tool maiking by archaic children, and the learning process of the child is exnamined. Then, the living environment and learning process of the children are studied comprehensively, including the results of examination in the spring season.
