Course Description

We will have an overview of Latin America; study its geography, history, society, and culture through audiovisual material. We will try to understand the present and the future of Latin America studying the pre-Columbian civilizations and Spanish colonies.
Following the route of “The Motorcycle Diaries” of Che Guevara, we will know different regions: desert, pampas, Andes and Amazons; listen the music, see the art, and learn his relation with Japan. Also know about the "commercial triangle" and "Pirates of the Caribbean".
