Course Description

This seminar has four aims. First, students should acquire the knowledge of international law. Second, students should enhance their "legal thinking" by learning international law. Third, students should be more interested in modern social problems. Fourth, students should cooperate with each other and strike up friendship.
Following the Spring Term, we will read international law cases. Students are strongly recommended to read textbooks and casebooks of international law. All of them are also requested to report cases for enhancing their academic capability. In this seminar, students are also requested to read Nihon Keizai Shinbun in order to know current social topics. They are moreover encouraged to join the seminar trip to foreign lands.
