Course Description

We are living in the era when more and more people, especially of the younger generation, work and live in precarious conditions while some, if very few, make an exorbitant amount of fortune with a click of a mouse. This seminar is an attempt to develop deeper understandings on issues surrounding work and life in the context of rapidly changing globalized economy at this particular historical juncture, where the conditions of work and life, as well as their meanings, seem to be in deep flux. Participants are also expected to cultivate their own visions on their work and lives, which will help them navigate their own ways into the future.
