Course Description

This class will be organized around the progressive understanding of a video document. The students will learn how to understand the video step by step through exercises devoted to explain the structure, the vocabulary, and the grammar in some cases. Students will be invited to reflect upon the topic featured in the video, give their opinion, discuss and debate with their classmates. Depending on the topic, students may also be asked to work in small groups to prepare for discussion. At the end of each video students will be asked to write a short abstract and opinion in relation to the topic, which will constitute the regular basis for grading. The attendance is also taken into account.
