Course Description

This course deals with the introductions of laws, especially the international law and the criminal code of Japan. The topics are as follows: what is international law: history of international law; law of treaties; state and government; state territory; the right of a criminal offense; criminal indemnity. Focusing on the legal aspects of the matter, the class will examine the role of laws. As teaching materials, we will use newspaper articles which are reported in the press.
