Course Description

The aim of this course is to help students acquire a holistic understanding of Latin American society and culture. Especially, this course focus on a drug problem. As this is a complicated problem, it is indispensable to understand from a view point of area study.
Therefore, in the lecture, I will explain the drug problem in Latin America in detail from various aspects such as regional history, culture, politics, economy, international relations, so that participants could deepen the understanding of Latin American history and society.
