Course Description

This class aims to know and understand more about (mainly South) Korea. We will study the history, culture and society through the lecture, sometimes utilizing some multimedia materials. In this year(Ⅲ and Ⅳ) we will focus on its 'history' from ancient to modern. We will try to grasp the general outline of Korean history, paying attention to how it is related to its modern society and culture, and how it is related to Japan.
