Course Description

In this globalised society, English competence is regarded as a vital factor for students to be successful in the business world in their future because English is now a Lingua Franca. The concept of Lingua Franca suggests that English with Japanese accent should be accepted if it works in communication. In this lecture, following the spring term, ECCP selected students are supposed to learn English basic Grammar, intercultural communication, basic economics according to their levels, in addition to expanding their vocalubary and strengthening speaking ability via reading-aloud training. It aims to encourage students to use English willingly in various contexts.
