Course Description

The aim of this course is to develop English skills for future English teachers. Speaking and listening activities are focused on developing strategies to better understand and use vocabulary, vocabulary in context, grammar, and English in a variety of different situations. This class emphasizes content and student-driven group/individual activities to enhance speaking, listening, reading, writing and critical thinking in and outside of class. In addition, successful completion of this course will ultimately benefit teamwork, leadership, and presentation skills by giving the students opportunities to share opinions and express ideas in various types of communicative situations
