Course Description

This course examines society through the various ideas or theories of the notion of the “public.” For example, we will consider not only the territory related to the nation or government, or issues that are open to everyone and available for everyone’s benefit, but also to whom the word “public” refers, how wide its range is, and what the term “public” means in modern society.
