Course Description

Cultural properties are made from various materials such as metal, woods, or stones. This course will focus on excavated artifacts and explore the history and techniques of each material, as well as the kinds of conservation methods employed. The present state and problems of conservation, maintenance, and utilization of historical sites will also be explored.
