Course Description

This is a course on comparative cultural studies. In this semester, students will learn about Japanese culture compared to Western cultures by exploring a variety of materials such as daily conversation, literary writings, films, and TV shows. Students will also be expected to develop their academic skills. In order to complete the course, students will be required to make several presentations on the topic in which they are interested and submit a short essay.
