Course Description

This course fosters a theoretical and practical understanding of the “expression” component of the Course of Study for Kindergarten, both in terms of its aims and actual content, through a musical approach. In addition to learning the basic theories of music, students also apply that theoretical knowledge in practical exercises to develop a core understanding that lays the foundation for further learning. Students also give group performances, among other activities.
