Course Description

During the course, participants will learn about various themes related to the education of children while actually taking part in child-care activities. This course is intended to enable participants to gain an in-depth understanding of the area of “expression” in child-care. As well as offering the usual exercise-style lessons, the course will also provide students with opportunities for the “practical study of play” represented as studies in child-care skills and body games through activities to improve spontaneous responses to children, such as Apron Theater, Picture-story Show with Songs, and Glove Theater. These lessons will assist students in preparing studies pursuing their own themes. Focused on a group work, the goal is to acquire better and more comprehensive child-care skills as a child-care provider through creative activities based on themes.
