Course Description

This course will cover Japanese language teaching methodology at the elementary school level. A variety of activities will highlight the language areas included in MEXT’s Course of Study: speaking/listening, writing, reading, and Items related to traditional linguistic culture and characteristics of the Japanese language. Students will also learn about lesson plan structure and grading. In the later half of this course, students will be required to write their own lesson plans and put them into practice.
