Course Description

This teaching methods course is desigined for students hoping to become secondary educators who teach Social Studies（"Shakai-ka"） and Civics（"Komin-ka"）. Students will review the teaching and learning theory and explore the methods for teaching class by writing teaching plan(Gakusyushidou-an), and giving a trial lesson.
Through the discussion and reflection about their own practice teaching, students aiso learn pracical perspectives of social studies and civic education: development education, citizenship education, ESD, etc.
