Course Description

The course aims at students' acquisition of basic principals of English sentences through reading and grammer. Students read short stories in the textbook. Building up vocabulary is recommended. Reviewing basic grammartical items is included. Handouts are used for practising grammatical items when necessary. Students are often required to consult a dictionaty in the class. Midterm, term-end exams and vocabulary quizzes are given to the students.
