The process of animation production is not as different from that of live-action movies as generally believed. The process of movie production can be roughly divided into three phases: pre-production, production and post-production. Pre-production and post-production processes are basically the same for movies in general. The difference between animation and live-action lies in the production process. While you shoot live、 moving humans in live-action movies, you shoot still objects or images in animation. These processes are highly compartmentalized today. This course examines the production process of animation systematically as one of the movie genres and focuses on the basics of pre-production.
