Course Description

This lecture offers a survey of classical sources of the Japanese intellectual history and introduces students to current research issues. It is designed to help students to engage in an informed discussion about Japanese culture and thought in their future professions.

This lecture consists of two parts ("Issues in the Study of Thought and Culture I∙II"). It is recommended that students enroll in both parts of the lecture.
