Course Description

During this class, we will think about various topics by reading newspapers from many countries. Besides newspapers from the English-speaking world, we will also think about the economic and political situation in Asia, Europe, and other regions. Every week, we will read an article written in English and analyze it in Japanese. Through this process, the students will improve their reading skills in English. The fall semester will be mainly dedicated to the Asia-Pacific region. However, we will change topics according to the news.
The course will be given on campus, as well as intermediary and final tests. However, students who will not be able to join the class will be given the possibility to send reports using the LMS system.
