Course Description

In this course we will investigate how to get educational evidence and how to argue by using them. Throughout this course students will learn the social survey itself and the basics of the method of interview. The students of school of education who will write a graduation thesis by using a method of social survey should take this course.

Course objectives are
1. Students can explain the history of social survey
2. Students can understand difference between the quantitative method and the qualitative method.
3. Students can understand the method of interview.

The language used in classes will be Japanese.
