Course Description

The purpose of this subject is to review studies of archaeological papers, so that students understand the resaerch tasks of the Palaeolithic and Jomon periods. The second objective is to help students understand how to set issues, how to analyze materials, and develope the theory. Students wishing to prepare graduation theses need to find the theme of the graduation thesis by taking this excercise. It is necessary to set a task in each group or individual, select a paper related to it, and announce it. After the presentation, discussions will be held and students will accurately understand the outcomes and tasks of the paper. Incidentally, the paper concern the Palaeolithic and Jomon periods, but also includes those related to the natural environment and archaeological methdology. For students wishing to pursue other tasks, please consult with the teacher in charge in advance.
