Course Description

In the autumn semester of this course, we aim to understand that most of the South Asian countries are suffering from conflicts and terrorism that stem from ethnic feuds, religious differences, land disputes, and so on. In the class, we study the specific cases of conflicts and terrorism in the South Asian countries, and consider how such conflicts are prevented and resolved (seeking peaceful solutions or suppressing by force). I will give you a quiz at the end of each class, so that you can check your understanding and express your own opinions on the topics discussed.
