Course Description

The objective of this course is to give basic grammatical knowledge and communication skills in Spanish for the beginners with about 1 semester learning experience. The level to be reached at the end of the semester is to master the proper pronunciations, to be able to read and write easy e-mails with knowledge of basic grammar, to make oral communication in Spanish in limited situations like introduction of family and friends, asking time, talking about school life, expressing the locations of things, asking about favorite things, etc. Expressions with idioms and set phrases will be learned, too. Also students can have various knowledge of culture of vast Spanish-speaking countries in this course.
