Course Description

It is necessary to conduct a survey and discuss based on data for writing a master's thesis. This course targets graduate students who are going to conduct a survey for their master's thesis. They learn what the survey is, why people do the survey, and research ethics. Next, they take a general view of various survey methods like quantities methods and qualitative methods. Moreover, they do a simulation survey following the content of the class, creating a research proposal and a questionnaire using an electronic questionnaire system on the Internet.
