Course Description

Using 'Approaches and Methods in Language Teaching' by Jack Richards as a textbook, students will learn about prior studies on TESOL, including a brief history of language teaching, the nature of approaches and methods in language teaching. The spring term will cover the first half of the textbook. The aim is to encourage the students to gain various phases of language acquisition and the students, intrigued by language education, are expected to prepare and review each lecture thoroughly.
